Demineralized bone matrix (DBM) is allograft bone with inorganic mineral removed, leaving only organic collagen matrix.  It has increased osteoinductivity, exposed growth factors like bone morphogenic protein (BMP’s).  Many clinical studies have shown its efficacy, but each product has different characteristics due to its carrier.

Most carriers are water soluble so are not functional with arthroscopy.  By using a reverse phase media (RPM), StimuBlast allows us to use DBM in an aqueous environment.
